One part gin (Bombay, Tanqueray or Askur preferred)
One part simple syrup
Three parts Champagne
Splash of Brandy
One part sugar
One part water
Prepare the simple syrup mixture without the blackberries.
Muddle the blackberries.
When syrup cools, add blackberries.
In a Champagne flute, mix the chilled gin and simple syrup until well incorporated.
Add a splash of brandy.
Top with Champagne.
Finish with a squeeze of lemon.
Garnish with a lemon twist and blackberry.
note: If you prefer a smoother consistency, strain the excess fibers out of the simple syrup mixture
