For Vodka Lovers:

1. Shake the vodka, vermouth, fig spread, and ice vigorously until well frosted.

2. Pour mixture from the shaker through a fine-meshed strainer into a chilled martini glass.

3. Garnish with fig leaf, rosemary or thyme.

Note: If using honey, stir and dissolve the honey with the vermouth prior to adding to the shaker.

Twist:

It is said that the Martini is named after it’s inventor Martini di Arma di Taggia. Another popular theory states that the Martini may be derived from a cocktail called the Martinez served sometime in the early 1860s. Our twist gives credence to what the fig symbolizes, the spirit of awakening our creative energies. Paired with honey, you may experience delight, joy, good health and prosperity; which reawakens our collective memory of belonging to one another.
