This Eco-friendly twist is a play on the Vodka Gimlet. This shot can be enjoyed from a shot glass or half of lime. If taking the Eco-friendly route, cut one lime in half and squeeze. After squeezing the lime halves, scoop out as much of the inside as possible. Flip the lime halves inside out and peel the membrane with a knife or back of spoon. There should be no lime pulp left. Flip the lime half back to it's original form. Sugar the half of the lime rim and fill with mixture.
note: preparation of limes can be made one day in advance.
