1 oz cold brew whiskey

1 oz Frangelico

.5 oz Irish cream

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

chocolate syrup

candied bacon optional



brown sugar


  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees.

  2. Take a generous amount of dark brown sugar and mound on top of bacon.

  3. Place bacon on a broiler.

  4. Bake until bacon is crisp.

  5. Once bacon cools, crumble and set aside in a saucer.

  6. Blend whiskey, Frangelico, and Irish cream until smooth.

  7. Pour chocolate syrup in a saucer.

  8. Rub the rim with chocolate syrup, then dip in saucer of crumbled bacon.


The original Mudslide was said to have been created at the Rum Point Club’s Wreck Bar in the Cayman Islands sometime during the 1970s, all because the bartender didn’t have fresh cream on hand, so he took it up a notch and added Bailey's. Some believe that Irish Cream plays a key role in this boozy milkshake while others say chocolate because of the mixture of the Bailey's, cocoa extract and dash of chocolate bitters. We believe it is the layers of flavors that makes this boozy milkshake so delightful; hence is why we added another candy! Once you add candied bacon, it is pure ecstasy. This will be the happy drink from now on. Bacon lovers rejoice!
